Dear Explorer,
What began more than 60 years ago as my father’s small group-focused Alaska cruise/tour business has since grown into the global leader in small ship exploration cruises.
While much has changed since our early days, one thing that hasn’t changed is our belief that the best way to see the world is “Up-Close, Casual and Personal.” When you cruise with us, you can expect a destination-focused journey that is enhanced by dedicated Exploration Leaders, “insider” experiences and complimentary extras from shore excursion included in every port to kayaks and snorkeling equipment onboard the ship.
While our primary focus remains on Alaska cruises, we’ve since expanded our destinations to include Antarctica, The Galapagos Islands, Europe Rivers, Panama Canal & Costa Rica, British Columbia, Mexico’s Sea of Cortes, Columbia & Snake Rivers and our brand new cruise collection, Voyages of the Great Explorers.
The new 2010/2011 Voyages of the Great Explorers includes 24 itineraries from 10 to 20 days following in the wake of legendary mariners like Marco Polo, Christopher Columbus and James Cook. The 335-day odyssey starts in Singapore on March 5, 2010 bound for 242 ports of call on 6 continents—a journey of greater length and breadth than any world voyage offered by any other cruise line, large or small.
